I cant emagine whitening something that isnt already white. Are you asking about a product that adds lusture and shine to hair? For some reason, I have a feeling this is an advertising set-up. OK, I will bite, whats the name of it?

no ad here..

no set up either. just need to learn the whitning process. used alot on all white furs such as arctic fox with bad whale blubber staining and ranch fox for extra fine fashion. etc. how bout it guys? or do i need to ask a super stupid question to get a responce on here. this a tanning forum isn't it? not just a mounting talk group. i believe the heading says tanning. that applies to garment industry. personally im not a big mounted animal fan. i also get sick with some of the high fasion snobs. but oh this rendezvous dressing down with tanned fur really turns me on!
thanks you os for the comeback.

tanning here for the most part...

...is about mounting critters. If your going to use the heading tanning to include everything about tanning you'll have to include naked women too, they get tanned all the time-Hey I think I'm all for that-how bout it Ken Edwards?

But, I think we all have your phone number memorized by now.Its starting to become a little repetative. Have you become desperate for human contact? I guess getting phone calls, pretending to offer free advice, could help your business, in the long run. Why dont you just be straight up and tell us the name of your business? Ej, contact Bruce Rittel, he can freely give away info that I cant. Where is the oldspice? Kinda starting to miss it, it was funny, I have to admit.

oldshaver

This response submitted by Laurier on 6/11/06 at 12:44 PM. ( houlel@onlink.net ) 209.105.208.204

oldshaver the reson I ask people to call me ,is because it is much easier to explain and dummy proof a conversation over the phone then going back and forth on the computer.

I am nothing more then a taxidermist with 34 years of experience with work and species from ALL OVER THE WORLD.

I am here to help out and give my imput as do many others.

If the person does not call me that is their problem.

So you go ahead and spend all day at your computer because some of us have a lot of work to do.

Why not just put your advice on here?

This response submitted by oldshaver on 6/11/06 at 6:05 PM. ( ) 68.221.0.82

All day at the computer? I work from 5:30 to 5:30, 5 days a week. Sometimes on weekends. Today, SUNDAY, I put 100 black bears in soak, over 100 pcs of african in soak, 15 cow capes in soak, and pulled 300 deer to be put into soak monday. All this was probablly done before you had your morning coffee. I have a computer in my office, and will occasionally make a post during my lunch, but only if theres a good debate on here. If you notice the time of this post, it after 6:00pm eastern. I was laying hardwood floor in my dining room, when you were making your post. The only way you are going to catch me on the computer at 12:47pm, on a Sunday, is if its raining outside! Im just saying, you have to have some agenda, to give out your phone# as much as you have. If your confident in your abillity, and experience, why not just leave your advice on here, so others can benefit?

I think you mean...Brightners!

This response submitted by Bruce Rittel on 6/11/06 at 9:11 PM. ( rittel@mindspring.com ) 207.69.139.13

I think you are referring to White Brightners. They are used to enhance white fur (especially Arctic Foxes) and sometimes even a bit of Blue Brightner is used to enhance the white. They arent a dye or stain - they simply opticcally make the whites look more white - and of course sometimes the light tint of blue makes them more optically pleasing. However, usually the Blue type is used on very white (or light colored) Coyotes. It works better where you have different color textures.

yes, Bruce..

Sunday's is the day of the Lord and I do not work on taxidermy.

I do work around the house, Typing is not my strongest suite , so it is mush easier to talk over the phone.

I do not charge for advice or try to sell anything.

Just think of it , do you think somepne is going to call for help and then you say to them ( OK this is going to cost you "$" so you give them advice then you send them a bill or they send you money. ?
Give you head a shake !

Just put out a post and see if anyone called me and see if I was trying to sell them anything , just free advice.

Oldshaver " beleive it or not " but some people are nice enough to just offer to help !

Remember I am a Canadian!

I could not keep OS working a week, much less a year. He is in the right place for his skill set. IMO

OK David.

just polking fun! no hard feel'ns. OS seems to be the man of the hour!
he's super fast~~
Good luck David Patton in your new full time job.
What does IMO mean?

IMO

This response submitted by David Patton on 6/13/06 at 8:27 AM. ( ) 12.76.232.173

Internet shorthand:
IMO- In my opinion
IMHO- In my honest opinion
LOL- Laughing out loud
ROTFLMAO- Rolling on the floor laughing my a** off (can add an f in there for fat or other f words)
BTDT- Been there done that

Any set of letters for your favorite phrase will do. Just an Internet thing that some folks use. I think Cecil Baird posted a much more extensive list last year. Try searching for his list. It was much more entertaining.

Thanks EJ! Now that I am attending these conventions, the work is pouring in and I had to let Caterpillar go. Just can't serve two masters and expect to do justice to both. I chose the tannery since that was the plan from the start.
Quit CFD...done
Finish college...done
Get job to supplement tannery...done
Make tannery full time job...done
Grow tannery..in process
Yep, everything is falling into place now!
