I've got a baby raccoon and coyote that I just finished skinning. After skinning, I threw them both in the refrigerator and am going to flesh and turn everything tomorrow. I am planning on ordering a type of tanning kit and I'm in kinda a dilehma on which one to choose. I am either going to order the Lutan F kit from Van Dykes or the McKenzie tanning kit from McKenzie taxidermy supply. I was wondering which type of tan some of you more experienced taxidermists would use on something like this. Feel free to make any suggestions on any type of tan. Thanks.

Absolutely.
Only way to go. Tans babies, full-growns, everything else.
Plus you can mix weed-eater fuel, marinate chickens, make whiskey - the list goes on.
Every shop should have one!
Thanks Steve!
Ancient chineese secret!
I gave the smart aleck answer, so I give a real one. Any of the products you listed are fine. If you're not tanning to mount, you'd do best to stay away from the paint-ons as they will be tougher to break and make soft.
By the way, you can use the AT to pluck chickens too, before you marinate. In fact, do both at once...!
I am tanning to mount. I think I'll go with the Lutan F kit as I've heard good things about it. Thanks for your help.
Try John Rhineharts tanning cream. You get unbelievable stretch and they are tanned over night. Best stuff I have ever seen!
