I have a few raccoon hides in a citric acid pickel now. I need to do some final shaving and degreasing. After that I planned to place the hides back in the citric acid bath. However, I'm just about out of citric acid crystals. I do have some saftee acid. Can I make up a whole new acid pickel bath with saftee acid and place the hides in that after degreasing?
