have life size musk ox drying.can you tumble musk ox in sawdust or is it like a buffalo, where it`s a task to get it out of the fur.I usually tumble my buffalo without sawdust.I have a 8` tumbler but no cage tumbler.Any sawdust removel from fur will be done by hand. I shave thin and use quality oil,all my large hides break very nice.I just don`t want to create any extra work than needed.Thanks in advance for your time.

If you tumble that thing in any sort of medium you are asking for an impossible item. It is not a task - it's simply impossible. If you want to remove oils from the fur and soften the leather, tumble it with rags, some of which have OMS added to them.
What is OMS,some degreasing agent?
