To destroy any form of larve, bug ,ect, then resalted and dried again for shipment. Then crated for shipment (pack).
Can't remember % and type of solution but someone will answer that one tho'. It's an acid solution similar to a pickle.
Some will say they don't so anything,I had my USDA person here today and yep sometimes on rare occasion it happens and they catch it but it's RARE, in that case the Vets in the country signing off on the paperwork are not doing there job and falsifying documents.
