I have been using this method of IMPROVING my tanning for some time.Static Tanning(Tanning in a barrel has drawbacks and using this method below will ENHANCE the quality of your Tans a lot.Thew main drawbackon Static tanning is your solution settles, this solves that below:

Take 2 Submersible bilge pumps(theycome in different 500 Gallon per Hour,750 Gallon per hour)I hav one 500 & one 750 and initally stir your Tan Solution then just drop the two pumps to the bottom of the Tan Solution and hook to a Battery Charger(Brown Wire is Postive~~Blak is Negative, and the pumps will keep yor tan stirred up,,creating the solution to saturate all your capes or hides. This is an Excellant way to get better tans without spending a bunch of money. My 500 gallon pump cost me $20 total and $30 for the 750 gallon per hour pump.YOU WILL NOT rregret doing this I swear it.

Since I WILL NOT SPAM this forum, write me and I will be glad to send you the Phonenumbers to the Pump MFG's.

Also,if you will use an Aquaruim heater you can keep your tan solutions above 40 degrees durig winter and along with pumps above you can PRODUCE beautiful tans.My best to all,Gene

The sump's don't get corroded? How long have you had this in production? Do you do anything special to the sump's before you put them in the tans (coating them with silicone oil or something protective, for example)?

No corrosion at all
