We do our own soft tans. We have perfected it to the point that they are really soft now, but we can't seem to get the under side as clean and white like a commercial tanner. Can anyone help with suggestions?

what tan are you using? I'm not try'n to plug his product, he's rich enough. but when we use Bruce's eze 100. and then do the proper basification. the leather could not be whighter!
Try and use white taulk powder on the final tumble put it in with your sawdust and see if that helps.
