Fleshing machine blade

Are all fleshing machine blades of a standard size and bolt pattern, or do I have to buy from same manufacture as fleshing machine? Thanks

I have a rawhide fleshing machine and I purchase my blades from Van dykes supply co. These are not actual blades from the manufacturer. You might want to ask but I think most are interchangeable. Good Luck, Mark

I've only ever ran into one that had smaller bolt holes, but you don't have to worry about that. There are some big differences in blade thickness, hardness and steel quality though. A thick blade is of absolutely no advantage over a thin blade. The extra "momentum" of this blade is going to be unnoticable. If you're stopping your machine while shaving, you need to have your blade reground. Talk to the different people selling blades and ask them about their product before you buy. Keith
