wet tan candidate

I am sending a fox and bobcat out to a tannery. Is a fox or bobcat skin a good candidate for wet tanning
What exactly is a wet tan?

Wet Tans

Phil: Any taxidermy specimen is a candidate for a wet tan. Wet tan only means the hide or cape will be returned to you wet/frozen. The tannery will tan, oil, tumble then freeze for shipment your piece rather than drying, tumbling, finish combing the product. We much prefer completing the job into a dry tan. If the tan used is Rittel's EZ100, the rehydration process is simple. If you have any further questions please email us or call 517-523-3196.
