?Tanning metod for ostrich?

I have a client he wants to tan for leather the ostrich.I want to lern this metod.

Yes - its possible to tan an ostrich skin yourself, and make leather - but it may be best to send it out to a Tannery instead. They are a peculiar leather. Each feather follicle has a fat sack and it must be broken for quality results. It should also be tanned (EZ-100) and retanned using a Veg Tan like Quebracho to give it durabilty and more strength. After tanning - it is also usually dyed - and that becomes a bit complicated on a home 1 skin basis. Youre better off sending it out.
