Think about a time when a customer complimented your service. What specifically did you do that led to the compliment?


Tell me about a time when you dealt with a difficult customer. What did you do to ensure they left satisfied?

As far as the first question goes if I recieve a compliment from a customer I suppose they were pleased with their mount, but that doesn't always mean alot because I have seen people very happy with a mount(especially if it's a first for them)only to be unhappy with it later on when they compare it to a better mount.. so the best compliments to me is having a customer bring me work again next year or have a customer that has had alot of mounts done express how pleased they are with their mount. Not to sound arrogant but the only specific thing anyone can do to get those kind of compliments is put out quality work.

I have only dealt with one customer who was really difficult and his problem was that his deer was alot bigger than that. Well I brought out the tape and the check in records with his signature that included all the measurements that he witnessed at check in and then measured the mount in front of him and even then he disputed the size, at that point I informed him that if he was in anyway unhappy with the quality of the mount(eyes,ears seems ect.) that I would take any steps needed to correct the problem but if he wanted a bigger deer then he should have shot a bigger deer.

Any time I've had any kind of problem with someone or them with me,
I would talk directly to that person (instead of talking to other people about them) and be honest and to the point. Where it goes from that point depends on them.


This Happened To Me!

Once I had two customers come in at the same time. One customer brought his smoking hot girlfriend with him, the other guy was by himself. My super friendly German short hair accidentally stuck his head up her short skirt, revealing a skimpy blue thong!(Compliment #1 came from the other guy after they left) Oddly enough, the hot chicks boyfriend became 'difficult'when me and the other guy were both looking at her er' attributes...I think that our "grins of glee" might have been what pissed him off.
I remember one time back in school I had difficulties getting girls to help me train my dog. They kept asking me why they had to wear short skirts!
