I recently read a few past students who took some fish classes with Rick Krane and I want to add my exsperence. I want to take this opportunity to tell any one considering learning fish taxidermy that Rick Krane of angler artistry is a far above average teacher. The man knows so much more about fish that I thought I already knew an can communicate so even an run of the mill taxidermist can win a best of category at my state show this year. I went to New Hampshire to learn taxidermy an I got to learn from a real master of the trade. I totally relearned every thing I knew or thought I was doing right. Rick teached me to paint so differently but it all makes sense and I learned to carve fish body's in a very different way!
I really want you to know I looked into many different schools and they are so many today it is tough to find a good one that meets what you are looking for. It seams that every one now offers teaching but if your going to spend your money learn from some one who has been teaching with a good track record for a long time like Rick. They have some schools that are cheaper and some more expensive too but I feel I got more than my moneys worth in value from Rick.
I make my money by working for it and I liked that Rick teaches one to one. He will give you your moneys worth and then some! I got to work almost every day for at least 10 hours and more. I took the time and it paid off for me. I put it off a few years but kept in touch with Rick and I shouldn't have waited I'm glad I did it! Also the hundreds of the best reference pictures of just about every fish Rick gave me was worth a few hundred bucks if I were to buy them so that was a value for me. My work is 100% improved and I'm not big name champion but I know I do the best work in my area know. Oh bring an empty belly the man can cook for a king! Thank you more than I can say Rick Krane you're a real gentleman and a very great teacher.

Thank you Rick! looking forward to the Vidoes.
