Frank
Newmyer (Michigan)

426-2213
Check out anyone else's webpage; you'll probably find pieces that try to imitate Frank Newmyer's signature approach to taxidermy. They all love his results and you'll see his designs in their work, wherever you look. What makes his work so lifelike? Newmyer leads the way as a student of the live bird. During his 50 years of taxidermy experience, he has spent 40 years raising and researching live birds. As the "Father of Habitat", we've been seeing his concepts for splashing, plexiglass-swimming, portholed and encased dioramas in the media since 1976. Newmyer introduced the first complete commercial bird mannikin line in 1986, and also that same year, innovated the use of mounting with silicone, for its superior sculpting beneath the skin. His work has been selected by the world's top carvers, painters and photographers since the 1970's and his students have won on every competition level. Newmyer's knowledge is what every instructor emulates today. You can begin having the finest results in your own work by reserving your private seminar for an intense training with the "winning-est" man in taxidermy.
