Freeze Dry Division
Rules and Regulations

A separate division has been set aside for all mounts employing freeze dry technology. If a freeze dryer is used to preserve the flesh of an part of the entry (without skinning), it must be entered in this division.

Exception: Freeze dried velvet antlers on a conventionally mounted deer head may be entered in the regular competition. Also freeze dried turkey heads that have been skinned, mounted and freeze dried to prevent shrinkage.

The categories in the Freeze-Dry Competition will be:
  1. Lifesize Mammals
  2. Birds
  3. Fish
  4. Reptiles-Amphibians

Multiple First, Second, and Third place ribbons will be awarded. You may not compete with freeze dried flesh in any other division than this. No other categories are open to specimens containing freeze dried flesh, other than the Collective Artists Division.

Interpretations of all rulings or regulations (and any rules not provided for) will be decided by the World Taxidermy Championships® Regulatory Committee.
