I have spent some time working on trying to get everything condensed into one post.  Here it is. Should be easier to find the answers to your questions. ALL the information is here.

                     MIDWEST REGIONAL TAXIDERMY CONVENTION
                              At the COPPER DOCK WINERY
                                      In Pocahontas, Illinois
                                    September 23-25, 2011

You are cordially invited to join us for a weekend of fun, education, competition, fine dining and wine tasting. We have gathered some of the top instructors in the world.  We hope to make this an annual event and welcome any and all taxidermist from around the world to come. We are not going to be in a stuffy motel. Most of the seminars will be conducted outside or under pavilions in the beautiful atmosphere of this gorgeous winery.
The Winery Bar, Docks, and Patios overlook a beautiful lake with wildlife all around.  This Winery is a brand new multi million dollar facility. The banquet hall has seating for 350 people. It is complete with a wine, cheese, meat and bread deli. A complete bar and grill awaits you, where you are served by some of the prettiest and friendliest waitresses serving the coldest beer and drinks around.  Tables adorn the two story dock and patio areas. Visit with your friends or go sit alone, just the two of you, in this romantic setting. Built as an outdoor wedding venue, this place sparkles with class and style. There is plenty of parking. So come join us, and take a late summer vacation before the busy hunting season arrives, and get one more good convention in before the weather turns cold. Late September in Illinois is the prettiest time of the year, and the temps are usually mild.

SEMINARS:   3 days of hands on seminars, taught by some of the very best in the industry with 5 packages to choice from.

THE WHITETAIL/GAMEHEAD PACKAGE
World Renowned Whitetail Artist Bill Yox from New York
Bill will be teaching whitetail anatomy. The true secret behind creating lifelike representations of the Whitetail deer. Learn expression and attitude. Watch as Bill transforms a commercial manikin into a one of a kind artistic sculpture that will capture the attention of your customers and set you apart from your competition. Knowledge of what is going on under the skin is what separates an artist from a taxidermist.  Then, in session 2, watch as Bill mounts the skin and teaches alignment and expression. Eye set, rotation, and attitude.  If you truly want to learn whitetail taxidermy, this is a do not miss seminar. Add to that, Bill will also be doing the same thing with a RED HERTEBEEST in session 3. Wishing to get into AFRICAN GAME HEADS?  Here is your chance. Learn the differences in working with N. American skins verses African skins.  That is 3 full sessions with one of the best taxidermist in the country.
But thats not all. You get 2 more sessions with the one and only Michael P. Schlabach from LaGrange Texas.  Michael will be teaching his outstanding pedestal backing techniques, HANDS ON!!  PLUS, receive FREE OF CHARGE your very own Gene Smith Wall Pedestal Mannikin courtesy of HEAD QUARTERS SUPPLY for doing your rock habitat on, and take it home with you. You will learn how to sell it and how you too can put an additional 150.00 in your pocket on every deer head mount you do. I said there were 2 sessions right?   Heres the second. Watch Michael mount a commercial deer head. This is for you beginners that need some direction. We will call this DEER HEADS made SIMPLE.  Need to get smoother and quicker with your production work? This is the class for you. You will learn Michaels hide paste formula, his BONDO ear techniques. How to set antlers, eyes, and ear butts. How to produce a customer mount that both you are your customer can be proud to have on the wall.
Now, there is one more session in this package.
That session belongs to Antler Replicator Tim Thacker.  Learn his methods of antler tine repair. Learn the steps he uses in molding and casting realistic and simple, easy to do tine repair. He will teach you how to paint using oils and how you can turn an otherwise daunting task into easy money. End your repair struggles once and for all. Make your customers proud to call you their taxidermist, while paying yourself great dividends. Learn how 30 minutes can put 200.00 in your pocket. Bring your broken rack along with you and fix it together.

THE WATERFOWL PACKAGE
World Champion Kent Reedy from Iowa
This is a seminar for those who want to learn the finer things in bird taxidermy. What can I say that hasnt already been said? The name Kent Reedy is synonymous with BEST BIRD GUY IN THE WORLD. How could it get any better than this?  Kent will teach his techniques and approaches that has won him a world title. You will work side by side with Kent on your very own Mallard Drake. You bring your own skin already fleshed and degreased and EVERYTHING else is being provided for you. (manikin, eyes, wire, paint, caulk & etc.)  You will learn proper anatomy, manikin alteration, posing and positioning, casting of heads and feet, and finish detail work.  This is a limited class of 10 students. This is a do not miss. I expect to see many of the top bird guys at this one.

TURTLE SOUP ANYONE
In this package you get, not one but two, MASTER REPTILE taxidermists.
TOM VOYER from New Hampshire AND DAN PSYCHO HUDZIK from Illinois TOGETHER AGAIN.

Learn to skin, preserve, mount and finish one of the best tasting species in N. America. The animal that carriess his home on his back. The SNAPPING TURTLE. Ive seen many people over the last few years get involved in the ever growing world of REPTILE TAXIDERMY. Many have won in competition and have added reptiles to their commercial business repertoire. These guys will work feverishly with you every step of the way.  Learn how to dissect, preserve and mount one of the oldest creatures on earth. Learn to carve bodies out of foam and shape with clay. How to assemble and finish. These two guys know their stuff. Both have won many awards at both the state and world levels. You will have a blast working with these guys, I assure. All you have to do is show up. EVERYTHING is being provided for you. The turtles, the eyes, the clay, the foam, the paint. Its ALL here. All you have to bring is a good attitude and a desire to learn. These guys will provide everything else, with a big help from Blaine coonhollow Gerow who is busy as hell right now catching you your very own turtle. This will be a FUN FUN class.

I nominate Dan to assist in keeping track of things along with you, it makes sense you are close together and I'm sure he will be very involved anyway...and he is very trusted and admired from his participation with HOAL. I will get a few more boar delivered and get one fattened up and shoot for one at least as big as the last another 50-100 pounds would be nice.lol  I discussed the turtles with Dan they will be snapping turtles, and I will keep them alive til 3-4 days before I come out and put them in the freezer I will fence my pond off as a containment for them and start gathering them from the lakes and transplanting them to my pond.lol so I just need a idea on how many to gather up! I think each participant should get 1 shirt included if possible? but up to you?
