Gary Newell Stallard, 70, of Wytheville, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, in the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel. 276-228-3101.

Wow, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Didn't he just post that pic of the wt in water a few weeks ago?

Gary did post the picture of the swimming wt a few weeks ago. He was a great teacher and taught me a lot over the years. He still loved taxidermy and had been doing it since the early seventies. He will be greatly missed!

Gary was a really great guy. He used to come hang out sometimes when I worked at Noonies.
