It's with great sadness the Texas Taxidermy assoc Board has to announce the passing of our first President , Tom Piwetz. Tom played an important role in the taxidermy industry having a full time studio and tannery that served hunters and taxidermists nation wide.  Date and time of services TBA.

God's speed and RIP Mr. Piwetz

Tom Piwetz of Meyersville, Texas passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015. Tom was the first president of the Texas Taxidermy Association Inc., and started two sucessful businesses, Tom's Taxidermy and South Texas Fur Dressers, of Victoria. Tom was an avid hunter, outdoorsman, photographer and world traveler.
