How has the for sale section been doing?

I agree, the older forsale section before you change it , was easier to follow and post to buyers forsale items.

I disagree, I feel like after getting used to the new forum, it is much easier to post for sale ads (especially when it comes to posting pictures).

 

it would sure make my day if anyone posting on for sale ads got one warning and then banned for not following the RULE of don`t post on for sale ads.

 

Bill you need to delete that for sale post for marijuana has nothing to do with "taxidermy related items" and is likely a scam but kids dont need to see it on this site thanks

 

The metal energy post things need to be deleted.

 

Could scarecely find anything Taxidermy related tonight, for all the weird stuff on the “for sale” section. Wondering what’s up...

 

see 1/2 a page of for sale posts all at the same time by the same person. we need a moderator! no one reads the RULES!

 

It appears that all those posts are Chinese scammers too. I agree that it would be nice if someone could take a look at the Sale section once ever few days and delete and ban this crap. If things are reported .. does anyone check those reports?

 

I agree with Emers48. plus you do not have to resize your photos or go through another hosting site just to post your photos.

I thought I was going to like not having to use a third-party to post pictures like Photobucket. They started charging anyway and I found a better site to use. But I won't be posting any pictures anymore unless it's just one picture. I spent 3 hours trying to post copperheads. Then realized it would only take 10 pictures. So then I divide it in half. It still kept duplicating pictures. I ended up having to delete all of it. Then I tried to post to rattlesnakes with 6 pictures took 2 hours. Just kept having problems. I will just email pictures from now on to anyone interested.

I have noticed lots of posts responding to the for sale ads. Even some of mine have had responses. Mostly new members responding to them but a few old timers are jumping on the bandwagon.

Email is the best way to respond to my for sale posts because I can shoot them back a quick response and/or pic on my fancy cellularized telephone. Your forum is greatly appreciated. I feel it is important to patrol our ranks in a courteous empathetic manner. We were all newbies at one time.

 

I agree with most..the old site was much better and user friendly.....rarely even check whats on the for sale section anymore...nothing there! that's just my 2cents worth and I know it not worth much..but still like to thanks the people that run this site ,have enjoyed over the years...thank you!

 

I gotta say, if you say “email/text/call me for pictures or more information”, for the love of god, make sure that you actually put your contact information in your sales posts.
