    Hello,
I am trying to find a reasonably priced source of 27% peroxide in Alaska. We don't have too many pool suppliers up here so any other ideas on where to find it would be appreciated.
    Thanks...

Maybe not the 27% but check any stores that sell the beauty supplies. You can get 40 VOL (12%) which is still pretty fierce and also whitens bone really well. Pool places up there are probably few and far between and they know they have a captive audience.

    Thanks Sea Wolf...

I currently use 40V, but it has been getting harder and harder to find in bulk at the beauty supply stores here. Wanted to stay a step ahead and look for other options.

I've noticed that 40v clear is harder to find in gallons at beauty supply stores in my area. I can still order it from Amazon, but it's getting more expensive. I can still get pool chemicals.

Found a source at the hydroponic store. 34.5% in 5 gallon jugs...

Just thought I would throw it out here if anyone else is interested.

Will probably dilute it because I’m not sure I want to mess with anything that strong...

Make sure you dilute that with distilled water. You can start fires with that strength and even adding water to it with a high iron content will set it off.

Where in AK are you? I'm up in FB and can get peroxide fairly easy at the beauty supply shops.

I’m in Wasilla. They have only had quart size around here lately. The stuff I got from the hydroponic store is cheaper and has been working great though...

Never occurred to me that a store like that would carry peroxide. What strength was it? Might ask around here. New sources are always good to have.

    Sea Wolf,
It’s 34% but I diluted it down to 12% with distilled water because that’s what I’m used to working with and didn’t want to take any chances.

I get mine through E-Bay but you can order direct from Yardandpool.com
