Did I Handle It Right?

A little hard to follow here but lets see if I got the jist of it. You have customer that is unhappy with your turn around time. He sent you an email referring to the fact that he'll see you this weekend and then went on to say you shouldn't have f'd with him. No threats have been made but there is a threatening overtone for sure. Make an appointment with him and finish the deal, have a witness there, keep your guard up but don't be aggressive but don't let him walk on you either. People suck at times but remember, we are all the most important person in our own world.

 

Interesting thing is that in my past career, when I worked for a company, I would have told this jackwagon where to go and how to get there, and if he didn't comprehend, I would have showed him. Now that I own my own business, I have mellowed or gotten wiser or whatever you call it, I always attempt to stay as "Professional" as I can. I complete the project and move on but anyone that treats me like that never has work done by me again.

 

Better then me as I would tell him cash only . For picking them up . But if he was an A hole to me, like you said , I’d get Him to the shop tell him he is past due picking them up so he lost his deposit and I would show him the fish as I slammed them against the floor , then tell him to get the F out and never come Back . I wouldn’t care about the the money I had into them . I’d make my point . Done it before and will again if need be .

Not really sure how to take this ,I’m an active type person not a lurker , I like to help , so if I have good info to help I will . Ive been in this game a long time and if I can give info to save someone else time and money I will . If you don’t like my post don’t read them . If I’m taking this the wrong way I apologize .

Growing up in the shithole of Los Angeles that I did taught me that violence will solve some social problems. This is definitely one of them. Share the talents that God has given you with people who are grateful and treat you like a superstar. Anyone else can F off!! You paint too nice of a fish to take lip from anyone. My next and only response to that jack wagon would be . . . What Fish? You picked those up already and move him to the don't answer the phone / do work for list! Sell them and move on with life. Or knock his teeth out! Good to have a B plan
