I was going to use the epply WT replacement nose. The NJ54 was cut so there was a place to tuck the upper lip. I can't find the NJ54 only the NJ45 sold by WASCO. The NJ45 is flat on the bottom. I am not sure as to how I will be able to tuck the upper lip when using it because of it being flat. Has or does anyone use this model before, if so how do you tuck the upper lip? Thanks.

I like them better. Just attach the nose and mount the lips as if it wasnt even there.

Diamondhitch I'm not sure I understand you. Are you saying attached the replacement nose, wait for the bondo to dry, then just dremel the lip slot up into the replacement nose?

You leave the lip line on the form. The replacement nose goes above it.

I dont dremel lip lines and definitely not up into the cast nose. simply cut a slot with a thin bladed knife, widen it SLIGHTLY with the tucking tool you plan to use then tuck your lips. Let the spring action of the foam hold your lips in place instead of some filler pressed into an oversize slot. You only need 1/4 -3/8" of lip to tuck into the form, any more and it will just cause problems. Even an Elk or moose gets no more than 3/8" of lip skin tucked.

I got it now, tks for the help.

  7. You may want to cut out the lip and super glue the hide to the replacement nose just like you do with an open mouth jaw set.
    Good luck
