Only 3 and 4 here. And I subscribe to Georges regiment of hand care. Can't stand lotion on them though. It makes me want to go wash them.

    Wolf AHOOoooooo!

There's some stuff called "corn huskers" my dad uses it and whenever I run into a guy that says he can't stand lotion, I tell them about it. Its oil free and if I remember right it was developed by old timey farmers for ruff hands. Its a smokey gel with no added colors or fragrances, good stuff.

4 out of the 8 here. I'm not old, or overweight, and I don't wear a big belt buckle, or chew.

24 years as an Executive Chef in the military teaches you a lot of things. Just a couple are ALWAYS wash you hands and ALWAYS keep your work area clean. It becomes habit. My shop is always clean, always smells clean and I am always clean (most of the time)!

LMAO I got my fuzzy slippers on but I am otherwise dressed...

I wear blue jeans, my hiking boots, an a dark colored Tshirt...
I wear my apron but still manage to get dirty sometimes..
Shop is relatively clean but not spotless
Its big and nicely lite and I keep a nice deodorizer spray that smells nice..for when I get in something stinky...

  9. I'm a building contractor/Trapper.I have a large shop and one area is set up for skinning and fleshing. Most times during the trapping season I have skinned or un-skinned carcases laying on the floor. However,I also have my office in my shop. There is a wall that divids the office from the shop and when you walk in the front door of the office I have a buzzer on the door. That way I can intercept anyone coming in.My office is kept neat and clean all the time.My shop area is not for customers unless there looking at cabinets I'm building for them or something like that. And my trapping area of the shop has a canvas hung on rings so I can close that area off. Most guys I know always want to go behind curtain # 1 and check it out though. The curtain is more for the ladies. And with the woodwork I do in my shop it always smells like sawdust or wood finish of some sort. But even the wood working area is dirty sometimes.I guess my opinion of the whole thing is....If your going to look at the cows...chances are your going to see cow chit.

A lot of talk, and correct me if I'm wrong George, but what I think George's simple point is: BE PROFESSIONAL

Here's your portrait of a "real" taxidermist. Flannel shirt, T-shirt, jeans, Miller hat and a dead animal. ;D :D
