Help please

do you have the top of the skull(bridge of nose are) still, i like to cut mine horns off and leave the bridge of nose attached then i can lay it along the nose of the form and mark were i need to cut it off at then i can also see the actuall angle the horns when they were on the animal.
in my opinion i would tilt the horns a touch more forward, seems to me alot of the antelope i shoot and the ones i see around here the horns tip just alittle bit forward. but what you have looks pretty good.

 

I agree with squid. The horn tips are too far back. Raise the rear of the skull plate 1/2 - 3/8 of an inch.
Also to answer your last question. No. Antelope do not have a deep preorbital gland like deer do. Your form looks fairly accurate just the way it is.

 

You prolly done no this just throwing it out there cause you said it was your first just in case, remember to remove the sheaths and clean from underneith them and remove the musk glands in the neck.

Well, at least it looks like your eye orbit bone lines up OK. I did 2 the other weekend and the capes were 16.5 inches. I ordered 16 inch forms. The eye orbits on my skulls were 1/2 inch "sunk" in from the orbit on the form on both sides. So the overall width of my skulls were 1 inch narrower than the form. I find that to be the norm when mounting goats. But I don't do many. Maybe one or two per year. According to the warden who checked these goats over, he said they were 4+ years old. So they should have had a mature skull. Just a lot narrower than the form.

Just another tip, if you have a Y incision in your cape. It's WAY easier to cut the head off, pull your cape on then bondo the head back on.

Maybe this will help with the pitch of the horns. It is the tendency to mount Pronghorn horns either too straight up, or pitched way too far forward. References are always a BIG help.
