To Angling Artisan, I used your cut to show Manny a program for selecting a fish and putting in a black background. It could use some fine tuning but it only took a couple minutes to do. The program is by Lead/Coral one called PhotoImpact x3. I hope you don't mind but I thought I'd better let you know. Thanks. Al

 

Finally finished my White Bass Hybrid, and only took 4 paint jobs

Manny, that White Bass came out nice!

 

self molded and cast pink. i did this one with hoytman back in AK, and just got to finishing it. the pictures don't do it justice, and i'd like to thank josh knuth for the eye tutorial. a little more practice, and i think i'll have the eyes down.

 

Some really nice fish work this week everyone!!! Craig, love your steelhead & the other PNW fish and pictures! Good looking Cutt AA( as usual) nice work on the Pink AKA really like it's pupil shape, try picture with out hands or flashy things that could reflect on the lens. Awesome Red Gus! And Mike nice step by step tarpon images, beautiful eyes too!

 

Thanks for the comments guys! I had a great time at Ricks and learned a lot! He and Kathy are great people! Buddy was real friendly too, he even came and sat with me to watch TV!
I like your lens' Jeff they were nicely shaped and easier to paint than I thought! I look forward to doing more fish now with the confidence I've gained!

Really cool fish guys. Craig, the hen steelie is very very nice!. Mike, I like the animation. I might have to do that sometime. Gus, I've yet to do a redfish, but should I ever get the chance I hope it looks like that one when I'm done!! Lots of really great fish this week. Here's a wholesale replica. (Arp 3D)

That is a great start to the week. SOOO Many great pieces of work!! That hen is amazing. I love the natural lighting of that fish. Im particularly fond of the cheek plates, and how they arent too bright. They "hint" the rosy color. VERY CLEAN CRISP FISH.

Mayhem!!! LOL. Sorry had to bring up the past!! Great job Mike! Way to polish an Archie Turd and make it shine!! YOu are an artist for certain my friend!

Gus!!! I didn't want you to think I forgot about your redfish!! I caught several over 35'' and want to do my biggest one a 48'' bull . He looked alot like that. You NAILED IT>
