I need some time

Discussion in 'For Sale' started by ajwoodman88, Apr 10, 2010.

  1. I am having some major problems in my personal life right now and need to concentrate all of my efforts on my wife and family. I will honor all current orders, but will not be taking any new orders until further notice. I enjoy woodworking but I love my wife and need her in my life more than I need to woodwork at this time. I may be back, but that remains to be seen. I apologize to all of you who have supported me and wish you all the best. I just feel that this is the right thing for me to do at this point in time. I hope that everyone understands where I am coming from with this.

    I am very sorry,
    Allen

  2. I completely understand man. You have to take care of family first. If there is anything we can do to help you out, please don't hesitate to ask. If you need help filling orders, shoot me a PM. I may not be able to do much, but I will do what I can.

choo choo charlie I feel pretty good for the way I feel

Allen is doing what he needs to do for his family and I am sure he will honor the existing orders like he said he would or he would just have faded into the wood work like so many others.
he is a good guy in a tough situation but he will get through it.
cut him some slack Bow your reminding me of one of those customers who drops off a deer and starts calling the next day demanding to have his finished first.

Did you see where he said "I will honor all current orders"?
I have to agree with Charlie on this one.

I believe he put it here for the same reason you let everyone know when your going West in this section. Because this is where he has dealings.

I could have swore he said he'd honor all current orders. If that so, whats all the fuss about? he needs to do the family thing and thats cool. he fills the orders he has now, then no more till he decides. That makes pretty good sense and it fills all his obligations. read the post again for those who think it said i'm going to rip everyone off for the orders they sent. jmo.

I think Bowdeadly is being very understanding. He knows Woodman needs time with his family, so he lets him off the hook for the work & the time it would take with his family. He just wants HIS money back. Now we all know whats going on here. The money has been spent, there is no money to return. With Woodmans problems paying bowdeadly is the last thing on his mind.

  13. I hope this doesn't turn out like another Robert West! we've all had our share of problems in life, Ive had my share but I have ALWAYS taken responsibility with my customers, That's why after 31 years in the business people keep coming back and can trust me. I think Earl (bowdeadly) wanting his money back is not unreasonable.

Bow if you want your money back just say that and let it go,,,,,,if you don't like the way we tend to be a little understanding and stick with each other on this site then move along and find someplace else to have a fit!
Nobody said or even refered to tanning a fox but you had to throw that in to what? make a point?
kind of reminds me of my ex wife!
STICK TO THE ISSUE AT HAND!

    HEY JOHNNY
How are you and the wifey ? Here maybe is the best most honest guy to deal with there is on earth.. I first dealt with John about 8 years ago and I promise you will find no better of a person to deal with..John I told him to keep it, done with him could care less now..Just want the tanning guys to know that I can't stand getting ripped off. In my eyes I did but I'm felling more and more like they think they did just fine.Talk to you soon..Earl

If Allen takes care of his dealings then I say more power to him. Maybe my responce was a little harsh but I have seen people come on here time after time and get so far behind and so many peoples money then they have "something" come up and start making excuses then the next thing you know they are gone. Problem is they take everyones money and along with the money they take everyones trust too.

I removed all my negative posts due to the KNOW-IT-ALL comments made. Comments that I was talking about that make people
say NOTHING and move on. Thank you Charlie Schram you are the best.

Patrick J You've got me mistaken for someone else

So can anyone tell me what the moral of the story is here??

The way I see it AJ took in money and spent it before the product was complete. Mistake number 1. Then he had marital problems, my guess a wife wanting to leave so he decides to cling to the wife which will only cause further problems. Mistake number 2. Now he has customers with a legitimate reason to want there money back but he doesn't have the funds so that is not an option. Mistake number 3 so he starts this thread which to me is very honorable but is a catch 22.

Now Bow wants his money back and you guys side with AJ on the whole deal
I'm just left shaking my head at the hypocrisy in this group of people
