question on Catalina goat?

    I was brought some Catalina Goats from a group of guys and I have never mounted 1 B-4. When removing the skull plate, do I need to do anything special with the horns? I know some sheep and antelope need the sheath removed. Was wondering if I need to do the same for these stinky things, lord what an odor. Whhheewwwww.

    yes remove them from the cores

    Macerate or rot them off .the archives have the info. on how to doo it.

    place skull cap in boiling water till loose and pull them off....do not leave too long in the water....also helps to drill a hole in each one to put them back on the right way

    Thanks guys, I'm on a PDA. Not a computer, so the archives is not an option 4 me, other wise I would have looked it up. I see it on here all the time. I just don't have access to it.
