Bill, Brian Dobson is in Alberta not Saskatchewan. You must be confusing the two of us. Its an easy mistake to make i guess as we are both top notch whitetail taxidermists....or at least one is, LMAO. You can decide which one it is (it ain't me)

I just returned from Bill's class in Montana and felt that the teaching was well worth the long drive from Oregon. I'm an average taxidermist looking to go to that next level and Bill helped me understand how to reach that level. Our group had various levels of experience and Bill made it a point to help each person think through a problem and realize there's many different ways to come up with a solution. I have attended several classes/seminars with other taxidermists and have always learned better methods, but this is my first time understanding why and how a deer's expression came about. I'm not the type that gives out praise easily, but for those wondering about Bill's teaching, he's the best I've learned from so far. One word of advice for those who may attend his class- get lots of sleep before you meet up with this character!

  5. Well put Allen I also just got back from Montana and I can say I was really impressed I had a lot of fun. Thanks again and I would really recommend him to anyone. Ya and get some sleep. Allen was so funny he looked like he was about to fall over at about 9:00 on Saturday but he hung in there and was a great sport. I really liked how we could help eachother and see how to do multiple things in the combined class. For example I did a Mule deer so everyone could see how they go compared to a white tail. Also we used different things and all had different problems so that was nice to just get to see and learn from everyones stuff.

I got back from the Montana Yoxathon Tuesday morning about 1:30 A.M. after a 14 hour drive and nearly getting a speeding ticket five miles from home. But it was worth every mile. Bill, you did a great job teaching, had a lot of fun and learned a lot too!
