I always laugh at this question........

The guy I learned taxidermy from would always answer that question with "It looks horrible!". I always got a laugh because you could tell there was an akward silence on the other end.

 

I get that question a lot and I always say it is the best one I have done to date.

 

bet they all love to hear that curtis. but i remember a time way back when i used to say that. thing is it was the best i had done to that date. man the difference a decade can make.

 

I still get that once in a while.

Yep i get that one also. Like your goanna repley, It looks like crap.
I get these two questions a lot also. Are those marbles.(eyes)
The best one for me is. How do you get the brains out. I love to tell them i stick a straw up the nose and suck them out. You should see some of the faces that are made.

 

I've had the question several times too, and it still throws me off. But now you all have given me some ideas...

 

well im short tempered and i cant stand to be told that im a disgusting person playing with dead animals! how do deal with that? last time i was told that i replied," how much money do you make a year working at sonic flipping my burger!" i admit that was rude but she asked for it. maybe i have short man syndrome?!?

LOL, I tell them the same thing but I also say "i wouldn't even bother picking it up."

 

I always say, I think it looks really good, but how you think it looks is what is important, I am anxious to see what you think.

 

Must be a Michigan thing

I had a guy ask me this weekend if I was any good at mounting fish. I just answered, "I like to think I am."

 

ROFLMAO I like that one!

 

I've told a couple of clients that asked that, of especially nice deer with huge racks, "You can just leave it here if you don't want it." But they always picked them up. Drat. =)
