BIRD OF THE WEEK # 7-8,Year 5

    Hello folks!!

    Wow,that was again amazing couple of weeks...so many great mounts and really inspiring work of art from all of you!! Last week I got myself doing some birdwork too...for a long long time! It was relly nice change after too many fish and mammal to get some birdwork done too.. :D

    Ok...let's have a look back last weeks. Beginner for new week is from a week #5. Picture chosen is a GE mount by WCTaxidermy,CONGRATS!!!!!!! Somehow this just caught my eye...it's so lifelike that I just waited it to move in that picture! :eek: Very nice and clean mount! Other "eye-catchers were SD's canvasback,Falco's canada geese and Wingman's ocellated turkey...amazing work!

    From week # 6 I liked to pick this one..a Toco toucan mount by JBird!! CONGRATS!! Amazing work with those exotics!! Also KMA's hooded merganser and JParrish's pintail were mounts that catched my eye specially! So amazing work from you all...Big hand to you all!!

    Let's start a new two week period and let's hope we can again wonder all the talent there is in this interesting world of bird taxidermy!

    here is what I contributed to out local chapter of Pheasant Forever.
    They auctioned it off for $950 :eek:
    Some of those folks were too drunk :D

    Good for you.

    I thoroughly enjoyed volunteering for, and donating to, my local DU last August. I even set up the city's video equipment and filmed, then edited, a program which will air to promote the group's next event.
