What about the anus ?

Ok, I'll bite.I've been acused of being "anal" more than once,LOL.Seriously though, I try to replicate it as true to life as possible(including color).I have however NOT felt the need to photograph that particular part of the anatomy.

 

Make it true to life. That's what they are paying you for. Do you think they were offended when they pulled it out of the water and it had a bunghole?

 

Don't forget that the cloaca may be different on a spawning fish , I have looked through my reference pics and guess what,
No pics of an anus in sight ! its something I have never thought to photograph, ( that does not sound too good LOL) thanks for bringing this up .

You know, SJB, this might be a good time to think about switching to birds or maybe even a new hobby. If political correctness ever gets to a point when a fish doesn't have an ash hole and wild boars don't have balls, I guess there won't be any need for a taxidermist. WTF are you going to "offend" and what type of "sensibilities" could anyone have who didn't think all animals have ailimentary canals and sex organs in order to reproduce. Do you think YOUR anus would fit on a mouse? So how "generic" is it supposed to be?

 

That is precisely where i like to locate my attachment---there already is a hole there and it saves me a few moments to drill one out. ;D

Wow, could the forum be turning into a pay-per-view porn site? Generic bunghole, lets see. One tool I have seen used to make a nice "puckered" anus is the star shaped bits on power drivers for turning screws. Pretty generic, but better than just gouging a hole. Just please don't make them too red. Ihave seen way to many of these on fish, as well as inside mouths. Looks like a nasty chafing issue, or do fish get herpes as an STD? LOL
