can somebody plz which tan i should put on this hide

    ok so this guy brought in a cow hide today. he wants me to have it tanned so that he can lay it on the back of a sofa or something... isnt there a tan thats still soft a moveable even after its ben out for awhile???

    I hope he is prepared for a big bill. You can expect to pay the tannery $12-15 per square foot for the tanning. Add in your time fleshing. Then you have to ship it twice.

    Not to be rude Cody but how long have you been a taxidermist? Why would you accept work you know nothing about? Sounds like you have no idea what you are doing.

    yea i got it fleshed and plan i planned on sending it out to be tanned. just was hopin somebody could tell me which tan would be best.

    Whatever tan the tannery you send it to uses.
