lion or cave lion replica skull - found one but still looking

    Looking for either an African lion skull (real or cast) or an American Cave Lion skull (cast only) for a taxidermy related project. I need it with all of it's teeth (missing one or two incisors is fine though) and no real damage to the skull itself.

    Found one at skullsunlimited.com as was suggested by the guy I called at the Smithsonian.

    How long is the skull? And how much would it cost?

    i will have to give you measurments later it is from a large male though , the price would be $225 + shipping, right out of the mold , it would require some minor seam work and staining of the teeth

    Not worried about staining, and seam work is fairly easy.
    Did you get the measurements of it yet?

    Length mainly but width and canine length as well.

    here are the measurments 14 1/2" x 9" canine upper 2 1/2" lower 2"

    Thank you ljones but I need a much larger specimen. I need a skull between 22-24in, problem is the specimen I found online is 19in long and is the smaller half of the species.

    no problem, you wont find a African lion any where near those dimensions, better stick to looking at the prehistoric cave lion replicas
