    Thanks Rush, Michelle,
    Unfortunately when I went to get the hide last night it was bad.
    Who knew that black bagging a hide and putting it in a freezer in the barn that doesn't work for a few weeks would allow it to rot...

    But, thank you for the price information.

    Probably wrapped it up too quick without letting the skin cool out first. When it was rolled up the body heat stayed in the bag and didn't cool fast enough.

    I had a guy bring me a 72 sqft Bison hide that was folded in 3rds and rolled up in his freezer. Nice that it was fairly clean skinned. That thing weighed a ton. After 3 days of trying to get that dain thing thawed I resorted to the hose and some help.
