rehydrate

    i mounted a gray fox with krowtann. it doesnt look rite was wondering if i could rehydrate the skin and start over

    Go for it,, it is not going to improve just setting the way it is,,, will it?

    Go for it! I'd also suggest settling down with a big cup of coffee and spend a couple hours staring at reference photos of foxes and mounts that other beginners did, try to pick out things that look wrong. For instance, ears are a bit to far back, nose is a little off, etc. Read what experienced members have posted on how to improve or fix faults in the mount.

    That way, when you go to re-mount (or mount another) fox, you can look at it and say "My ears are to far back / my eyes are a little oddly shaped / the pose looks unnatural" so on and so forth. Helps you pick up your mistakes while mounting so that your better able to correct them :)

    thanks i have another one ready to mount i think im gonna try to rehydrate the first one to experiment
