Ben Mears Whitetail Mounting DVDs

Discussion in 'Deer and Gameheads' started by eddieb, Sep 16, 2011.

  1. After many requests over the years, Ben has finally made a couple of DVDs that cover everything you need to know about mounting the Whitetail.
Ben is well known in the taxidermy industry for his mounting and sculpting skills and has put a lot of effort into making this instructional series.
The set of 2 DVDs cost $100.00. Contact Ben or Melinda Mears at 662-282-4594 for ordering information.

UPDATE. These DVDs are also available through McKenzie at a cost of 2 DVDs for $100.00 (The latest catalog lists them for $100.00 each which is incorrect.) If you order them from McKenzie they will make the correction. Thanks

Probably the best $100 bucks you spent in a while ! There is no way $100 can cover the information you will get in those 2 dvds ! JMO ! If it's anything like Rick Carters dvd it will be worth it and some !

  7. Do you know if this dvd works in Europe?

Not true. They use a different system than we do in the US.

It all depends on what zone it is made for, the majority of DVD's in north america are made for zone 1. Be sure you have a DVD player that plays all zones!

Well, I will share a couple things,(not all) that helped me tons, from watching Ben's dvd. Ears, I tried his method described for turning ears, every deer I have taken in since, has been turned using this method. No more need for ear openers! Using his method of mounting the ear and earbutt have solved a big problem for me. He has a great eyeset, and he shows how simple it is to achieve. I had a decent looking mount before, but this dvd has helped me tune up my heads. Thanks Ben, I wish you had done this before now!! Well worth my $100.
