    Thought I'd start up a little thread on the number of teeth in each animal.

    I'll start, Coyote=54 teeth.

    Keep it going!

    Uhhhm .. nope. The bottlenosed dolphin can have 88 teeth or more. There are other species of dolphin that can have even more than that. :)

    POOR GRANDPA??? he married a 23 year old hottie that feeds him all his meals like he's a two year old. I can't wait til I'm 78, toothless and can't chew up my own meals. He's the luckiest senior citizen I know!! (;

    The land mammal with the most teeth is the Giant Armadillo which has as many as 100 teeth, according to wikianswers

    Of native North American mammals, I meant. Looks I forgot the "north" part in my previous post though.

    I don't recall seeing any dolphins in the neighbor's pond ;)

  15. Dall Porpoise have 86 to 94 teeth. I see them in the local "pond" every now and then.

    Yep. Dolphins is a mammal. And North America has lots. My pond here has Common, Spotted, White Sided, Short Beaked, Risso's a few others and even a rare Killer Whale and Bottlenose. Thread is for animals. Reptiles have teeth too as well as fish. Though I would not venture any guesses as to tooth counts for any fish. :) Not sure if the OP wanted to just stay with mammals or not.
