Sythetic stock for rifle.

    Hello Taxi-Peeps. I'm looking for a black sythectic stock for a S&W 1500 short action .308 for Hubby for Christmas.

    Do a google search for "synthetic rifle stocks". There is a lot of info out there.

    I did, found Bob's out of AR, has them for $130.00 but everything is FAX. They won't email back either. Kinda smells fishy wanting card# and info over the FAX.
    I'd like to talk to a warm blooded person. You know.

    I know what you mean! I just found one on GunBroker.com for less than that. But it's an auction site and you will still have to deal with a seller. I also found that Hoosier Gun Works www.hoosiergunworks.com also has them for less than $100 and they HAVE a telephone number.

    Sounds like you found Bobs Gunshop Site.
    Give Midway a call. They've got Bell and Carlson stocks for that rifle in a variety of colors. I have done alot of business with them on reloading supplies and have never had a complaint. Their number is 1-800-243-3220

    Update on stock. Didn't see one on Midways' site,(Hubby shops Midway ALOT), so I called Hoosier's. Very nice man, David, got me an excellent $189.00 Bell & Carlson stock for $89.95 plus shipping. Should be here Wednesday next week. Thanks Guys!! Merry Christmas!
