I fleshed the skin around the bottom of one eye to thin and the hair has fallen out right there now. Starts at the top of the tear duct and goes back about half the length of the eye and maybe 1/2 in down. Almost in a triangle shape. I thought I could just paint that area and it would look okay. However it looks bad just smooth skin were hair should be and so close to the eye it really shows is there a way that I can fix this and get rid of the painted look?
Thank you all for any and all help with this.

  2. Sounds like you over painted or used the wrong colors. Try repainting using a dry brush, oil paint. Use a stipple tech.

    Frist Thank You TMALONE.
What colors should I have used? this is all were the brown skin in the front of the eye meets the white hiar around the eye. I painted the brown a I nomaly would then added the white below that and tryed to blend it all together so there were no lines and the white also looks really white and stands out where there is paint. I just can't seem to get it to flow and look smooth with the paint. As for over painting I would agree that is prob true I guess I will take it off and try again. with any ideas I can get form here.

Try to match the hair color, blend white, okra, and coco brown, play with those colors to get a hair color.

You could also try gluing some flocking to the area and then paint that. Ive done this with good results in a pinch.
    Van Dykes sells the flocking.
