i can't see for the life of me, why anyone would complain over getting something free, or for that matter paying for something you could never hunt in your lifetime.I wish i had someone like Brian back in my day.

its the way of the world... try to help some people and they bend you over the desk... sheesh...

  8. Brian I don't know you but all I know about you is what I have read on here.People like you that gift things are a blessing to people like myself. I am a beginner and I know for a fact that I am going to make mistakes. If a specimen is bloody or what not, has a few holes in it or a broken bone, all it is practice to make it look good. I thought being a taxidermist you can fix or repair almost anything with in reason. I guess people are just ungrateful and self centered. I hope I have done nothing to pizz you off and some where down the line be able to get some gifted birds from you. Keep on being a good guy who will help people out, and don't let the whiners get to you.

  9. I'm new here and I've been looking for ducks and when I get to them there all gone. So those who want to complain, let some for us beginers to get and quit whinning! Sorry to hear that people I guess expect alot for free. I know I wouldn't complain, But thats just me.

Wow!!! That's what's wrong with so many Americans and most people in general, as soon as you give them something for free, all of a sudden that means they deserve it. Same with renters, customers, etc. My dad deals with people like that ALL the time, even if he just gives them a discount, then they feel they have the right to complain.

Like everyone else said, thank you and everyone else that continues to bother giving stuff away, despite all the dim witted sea slugs out there, lol

    Brian-

Always excited at the notion of getting mountable/quality birds from far off locations that are difficult to obtain otherwise. Following the example of the fellow from west Texas...are you interested in being gifted a dandy drake pintail from the last week of our season here in Utah (early Jan) where these birds piled into the marshes of the Great Salt Lake? We gotta keep your spirits up. Steve

Wow I can't believe people can be so rude. I am new on here and new to taxidermy and just was lucky to have a few members gift me some ducks. I recieved my first one tonight from you and am extremely excited to have gotten it. I would have been happy had it been ran over and missing a wing. I would have made the best of it. Instead I recieved a very nice duck, that was typical for being killed while hunting. To me it was perfect. Customers wont bring you in a perfect animal so why even think thats how it should be. It makes a guy sick thinking that someone would be so rude to the great people on here that gift. I can't wait till next hunting season as I will offer as much as I can as gifts seeing how great other members have been to me.

I have never recieved a duck from you Brian but as a member who has gotton gifted items Thanks it means alot to some of us. Sorry that you ran into some that dont respect all the great things they recieve.

  15. Brian,
from a fellow duck hunter, fisherman and taxidermist, don't let inconsiderate people get under your skin or stop you from sharing what you have with others. I live in an area that is a hunters and fisherman's paradise. I have hunting access to the Mississippi flyway and Teddy Roosevelt National Forest ( one of the best squirrel hunting locations in the United States). I also live next to Grenada Lake which is famous for it's 3 and 4 lb Crappie. I have gifted ducks, squirrels and even a couple of 4Lbs Crappie to people on hear. I, just like you, have gotten some negative feedback but mostly it has been positive. I to sometimes become frustrated and want to stop gifting but I still like the idea of sharing what I have with others. I do not have the opportunity to hunt sea ducks but what I do have I enjoy sharing with those on here that do not, or will never have, the opportunity to obtain. If you are ever in need of something I can provide just drop me a PM and I'll hook you up!

    Keep the faith!

If front don't look good show the back side, back side not good show front side, right side not good show left, left side not good show right, head not good, bury the darn thing under the wing. Taxidermy is a art and in the eyes of the beholder and if your the beholder do your work and let the rest of have a chance to have some ducks.

I'd post the idiots by name, and let the rest of us show them our gratitude for being complete A -holes. I for one won't do anything with these ungrateful pinheads.

Brian was nice and gifted me a surf scoter and an old squaw last year. Great guy to deal with and I was SUPER THANKFUL for them for I was trying to get a scoter for 2 years. I just mounted the scoter and can't wait to do the squaw soon.
