Nice, some sort of flavisitic-ish bird.

 

Neat one! I have seen another picture of a similar one. In the olden days that would have been called schizochromatic, I think - meaning that it's ability to make pigment is "split." (Some is normal, some is inhibited.) The phaeomelainin in the breast seems to be unimpaired.
Nowadays it would be lumped together with all other dilute mutations and it would be called leucistic.

Either way - I wish we could have them!

edit: Good grief. The word censor destroyed my attempt at a perfectly valid word. Let me fix the spelling and try again ... argh. :

 

There's a similar pattern in mice called 'dove tan' where the pink eye dilution gene only dilutes the top colour (black) into dove (gray), while the belly stays bright red. Good stuff.

 

I saw a piebald robin just a few weeks ago.
