Well, first make sure you have a species match...You see, Whitetails just will not fit onto grizzly bear forms properly. (Although there are quite a few talented folks on here that could make that combo work and come out looking like a masterpiece..)

Secondly, It might help if your question was just a weee bit more specific. It might just have a positive outcome on the answers given. Now if the form is too big, well, you always have knives, rasps, sandpaper and chainsaws to try. If too small, you might want to invest in some 2 part foam and learn a bit about sculpting.

You might add to your inquiry indicating how you measured the skin and how you picked out the form to order.. There is always the option to ask for information on measuring and ordering the correct form. Even then, however, you are not guaranteed a "snap together" fit. ;)

No disrespect to you but with over 3000 posts since 2006 I would have thought you would answer that question for me. :D

Duh, find a new skin! lol

  6. Yes - what do you have? What cape and what form?? On fish - it seems that I alter almost every form. If form is too big, make it smaller based on your measurements. If it is too small, make it bigger.

If your form doesn't fit it's not the end of the world. You need to be sure the skin is prepped correctly. The thicker it is the less stretch you'll have. Use johns technique on stretching the skin you can find it in the tutorials. After this dry fit again if it still doesn't fit then you'll have to alter the form. It doesn't matter what your trying to mount you can alter the form. All the info for altering is in the tutorials also.

  8. cut the skin and patch in new section of cape

  9. LOL yep that will do it. LOL

I will add a little quote from Mr. Whitehead from a post a while back telling the guy he can start by getting his head out his @@@.
I think this problem has already been covered under the category Cape Snake. You can get 8 inches of extra stretch before the cape explodes!
If it's just a standard wall mount you can cut it down the back, leave as much gap as needed to have the briskit in place then tell your client to put it high up on the wall, that way it is not visible. HA HA
    Good luck and post pics.

try reversing the skin, this will allow the hair follicles to not impede the transition between the glue and the mannikin. If not remove the claws first then re-install the horns

first step is to remove the skin from the carcass!!!!, everything after that will fall into place.
