Shocked and very sad to read this. Such a great person taken way too soon. Not only was he talented but also a kind and giving gentleman.
    A true follower of Christ.

  3. It seems like everytime I get back in to visit Taxidermy.net we have lost yet another member of the taxidermy family. My prayers are with Chris and his family.

What a great loss. The shows won't be the same without him being there. He was a great taxidermist, guy and friend. My heart aches from hearing this news.

What? I am shocked. I was awarded my first blue ribbon by Chris. He was always willing to help anyone. I'll miss him. He always told me if I was near by his shop to come by and bring something to work on. I'm blown away.

Like everyone else, I'm at a loss for words. This is a sad day indeed for our industry. Chris was definitely one of the best taxidermists in the world, but he was as humble as anyone I ever met. He will certainly be missed. Prayers sent for his family.

No finer fellow could you ever meet in your whole life. Prayer go out to Cindy and the Family.

  8. To the artists who knew him there is no explaination needed.

To those upcoming and new to the industry, there are just no words.

No words that can come close to describing the man that Chris was.

No kinder nor patient a man would you ever meet.

A walking wealth of knowledge that he would share at the drop of a hat.

He taught me about the industry and about how to see life and natures beauty in ways I hadnt thought possible.

Firm in his belief and uncompromising in many facets of his beliefs but rarely a cross word about anyone.

I'm fightin tears as I type. A better friend and mentor you will never find.

God Bless you Brother for the Good Lord's called you home. Thank you for all that you shared.

    God Speed on your journey

Chris was an awesome guy. Just as good as a man could possibly be. This is just horrible and sad. Godspeed.

:'( What a sad day. My wife and I had the pleasure of having dinner with Chris a few years ago. What a humble guy. He actually asked us if it would be ok if he sat at "our" table. Every year, Tina asks if Chris is going to be at the convention.

God bless his family and rest in peace Chris.

Very sad but another legend gone to God... I guess God wants to learn taxidermy. Godspeed Chris you will be sadly missed by us all.

  18. We are so sad to hear this. Like others have stated no nicer of a guy could be found. Dwayne and I meet Chris at our very first GTA show what an awesome guy he aswered every question we asked and gave us advise on things we didnt even think to ask him about. We mounted our very first red fox on one of his forms and love that mount to this day. Our prayers go out to his family. The taxidermy family has lost a great member. But boy has heaven gained an awesome angel today.

    RIP Chris

  19. I am speechless. I didnt see this or hear of chris's passing until now. The industry will miss a talented taxidermist and I, like many others will miss an amazing friend. I just cant get over the fact that he has passed. Chris gave me my first blue ribbons in the master division as well as being one of the judges that nominated me for my first breakthrough. I still remember every word of our conversations there. His appreciation of my work was worth more to me than any awards i received. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. RIP my friend!

  20. Prayers to his family....what a terrible loss....
