Rick RR GBirds Let's go kill some birds...I'm psyched!

No trophys in Adak in September... :D I would go to Greenland or Russia for a chance at a King...St. Paul is not to far to go for the King of Waterfowl! :D

  2. I've never understood the King Eider obsession you've had Rick (same for many others) but I will say congrats! I know you've wanted one for a while and I'm happy to see you getting a nice specimen. Way to go on a true trophy.

  4. I'll trade 6 caribou trips on Adak for one trip to St Paul no questions asked!

Ha. ha. This wasn't a dedicated waterfowl hunt but if I tag early, I was told waterfowl would fill my time. Obviously as a waterfowl hunter, I'm all about it. According to rick, I may have been given some bad info about Adak producing Kings in Sept. Guess I will get what I get. I appreciate the info Rick and will check out St. Paul for another buddy run.

Adak is great place to hunt...I will be back there someday, but it's not a good option for Kings in January let alone September. Kings follow the ice line and rarely make it that far west in the Aleutians. With that being said, somebody shot a King in Utah this year...There's no fences in the sky. We had one shot in N.D. in the 70s. Of course, you wouldn't want a King in September anyway.

Thanks Rick. I will do a little more asking to make the most of my trip there. Don't know how long it will take to knock a few caribou down. May have time to spare. Was on your site last night, Lots to apprciate from your web design. Great job. Didn't realize you were on Adak. Great site. Always looking for the next trophy duck or something different and its beginning to costs me money. LOL. THX.
