Our purpose at WPST is to teach the Art of Taxidermy to our students in an intense, yet enjoyable, eight week course. Offering the most up to date taxidermy techniques available, we provide you with the skills necessary to begin your own commercial taxidermy business. As a competent taxidermist, you will be involved in an occupation that allows you to set your own high quality standards, and do the work you love for the rest of your life!

WPST is a modern, state-of-the-art facility with ample space to allow students to work on class projects. Each student has their own work station equipped with mounting stands, fleshing machines, and any other necessary equipment to produce quality mounts.

Our Winter 2013 Class has worked hard and Graduated. We had a lot of fun too. I know they are well prepared to start their new career in Taxidermy.

I'll vouch for Marc and his school. I attended his very first class and even from the get go Marc ran a top notch school. If anyone has any questions at all, I'd be more than glad to talk to you. Good to see you on here Marc, I'll have to give you a shout some time.

Fish taxidermy is the most artistic section of the program. It is important to master fish, as the "average Joe" can spot a poorly mounted fish much more readily than any other type of mounted taxidermy. Habitat scenes will be created to add a finishing touch and to further enhance that lifelike appearance. Only your imagination can hold you back.

I will also vouch for Marc and his school. I graduated in the spring of 2009 and now have a good knowledge and foundation to help grow a business. Marc is an awesome instructor and Taxidermist but above all Marc is a good man. I can only credit Marc and his staff for the training and knowledge I have now. I've got a good following of clients that are year after year. If your looking to learn, Here's the school!!
Thanks Marc for sharing your knowledge and skills,

    Lance Murphy
