What tanneries do you use??

    I'm looking around for a new tannery to do my hides. I can't seem to find one that is not too expensive but not too slow. Thanks.

    Good luck,you are asking for a lot. I use Carolina fur when I send out-really like there wet tan for deer capes.

    The latest one I used is Moyle Mink. They did a very nice job.

    If your around New York, you should try Buckshot tannery, Its a newer tannery, but it has great stretch and great customer service, most the guys around me are using him now and been super pleased with the product.

    The Wildlife Gallery is nice! they are having a summer special with a 30 turn around time!

    I also use Wildlife. Their product is very nice, Both the wet and dry tan. Their only downfall is they have been increasing their turnaround time over the past few years and I am starting to look or do some in house tanning so I don't end up in the boat I am in this year with a lot of work to do and no capes to work on. Ahhhh.

    Carolina Fur's wet tan is hard to beat . They mount up real nice .

    Brandon Bowman in Walnut Cove, NC. Beautiful tan with some nice stretch. 20 mins on each hide then ready to mount.

    true,but that's one reason I have 15 tanneries within 10 miles of me and ship everything to california

    I am not sure where you are located ZBow, But I use Brent Gorman of dirty creek taxidermy out of muskogee Oklahoma, He does a great job, and is down to earth as they get.

    He is the only guy i know of in the whole state of Oklahoma. I am sure there has to be more.

    I am out of Joplin Mo and also use Dirty Creek.
