Rinehart Tanning Cream

Discussion in 'Beginners' started by rockbass33, Aug 1, 2013.

  1. Can anyone tell me if the Rinehart Tanning Cream has changed formulas again?? My last shipment is much lighter than before and the consistency is smoother. It even smells a little different to me. The stuff I was shipped before was much darker and gritty. Just wondering if any one was having problems with it resulting in a change to the formula. Any feedback on this would be great. thanks

  3. Yes, I think they changed it awhile back. It works but I believe old formula produced a better tan.

  4. Well I tanned a deer cape earlier today with the lighter colored Rinehart tanning cream that I was recently shipped. It turned out great! Very happy with it.

X3. I think this is one of the few examples of a change in formulation that didn't lower the quality of the results.

Thats weird because my last batch of cream was not gritty at all, and it came in a bottle with a pour spout. My new batch came in a large plastic jar w/o a spout, is gritty, and its viscosity is so thick i need to put the jar in a bucket of hot water to warm it so it thins. The thin non gritty formula has worked great for me in the past, the jury is still out on the gritty version.
