    Thanks for sharing Tim. ;D

  5. Great deer but hard to believe the story. Isnt Michagan shotgun or muzzle loader(fairly close shots) and he did'nt have a clue to what he shot????

    Game farm ? 8)

  7. He said it was snowing hard and could tell that it was a mature animal because of the body size. Its a believable story if you have ever hunted in a snowstorm. The state record typical was shot in the same way.... The guy just plopped down in a lawn chair in a fencerow.

I shot a 120'' 6 point with a 22'' spread in an open field on a clear day about 20 minutes before dark and had no idea what I shot until I walked up on it. The situation was just a way that i didn't pay attention.

Hey Tim I just got a pic of a supposed 164 inch killed in your neck of the woods on the 24th. Wish I could put pics on here but still haven't figured it out. Real nice 8pt

  11. HedHunter a 120" inch buck is a hell of a long way from that 190. It must have been whiteout conditions for him not to know what he was shooting. In that case he should not have shot something he could not identify, it could have been BigFoot.

Not a game farm.....and a true monster. I was at the processors when he pulled up with the cape and rack. I took my own short video and have a picture of me holding the rack. He had me promise I wouldnt post the pic. of me holding it on line and I said no problem. After the pic and video I took from my phone, he locked it up in his truck and took off.
So, I actually had my hands on that big azz rack. Pretty cool with the timing of that. What are the odds I was there in that 10 minute window of time he was there. It's friggin bigger in person, I tell you. Nice, mild mannered guy and he was actually out hunting with his nephew and Dad I believe he said. Decided just to go to another small property and "sit it out", had a pop-tart to eat, sitting on a stump, and out comes the big boy. Long, (he told me 198 yd shot) but accurate shot and like was stated, he really didnt know what he had. His Mom told me his phone has blown up since and he's getting all kinds of offers for shows and interviews. Instant celebrity.
I CAN show you the pics I took of it in the back of his truck (my black Chevy in the background). Very cool and couldn't have happened to a nicer guy...........A hearty Congrats is all I gotta say.

If he had a doe and a buck tag, then he can shoot at anything he see's, a big body is fair game if he is shooting at meat.
