Any interest in a fish molding and casting DVD?

If you can, include how to mold the inside of a mouth. I've molded fish before and that's the part that's always difficult for me. Fins also give me trouble since the mold always sticks together and I have to put tiny pieces of dried resin inside to keep it thick enough to not squeeze out all the resin and then I end up having to dremmel them.

I have always been fascinated with reproductions, of all kinds. I am sure there will be plenty of good info on this dvd to help even us veteran repro guys. Count me in for sure.

I think allot of people, including the ones who have been doing their own reproductions for a while, would be interested in fin materials. I get allot of questions from people about what to use to get the most transparent fin.

Transparent fins are OK when you are doing smaller fish...but for the most part...I like mine semi-translucent.

 

It's all personal preference. It doesn't matter to me personally how transluscent the body fins are, I'm comfortable enough in the painting process to give the appearance of transluscency either way. It is however more relevant to some people in warmwater fish as opposed to coldwater fish. It's also important in many species as far as pectoral fins go.
