Thanks Steve, Greg and Fred. We had a great show. You guys had some really nice fish, birds and fallow deer. The $1500 cash from Gander Mountain was nice to hand out for some of the awards. All of the judges were great (Jeff Brain, Tim Jordan, Jean Roll, Tommy Hall,- thank you all!) Looking forward to next year's show being even bigger and better. Keep up the good work!

~Thank you also, Greg and Julia, for sponsoring the distinguished awards.

  6. Just got back from the show in Syracuse N.Y. What a great show and people too. They had first class judges, Tim Jordan (BIRDS) world & national title holder, unbelievably talented. Tommy Hall (whitetails ) whiteail 2007 world title holder, amazing realism in his mounts. Jean Roll (mammals) many titles to her name one of the most knowledgeable
mammal taxidermist out there. Jeff Brain (fish), he too has many titles & his fish look amazing. They had a great supply room. The banquet was great and very organized.
Fred Vanderburgh (one of the best whiteail compeditors with many whitetail titles under his belt)was the MC for the banquet. He did a great job explaining the history of the UTNY show and explaining each major award as it was presented. Also I would like to thank all the board members for putting together such a great show, I can only imagine how much work is involved to put together one of these shows. This was my first, but not my last time attending one of these shows. The quality of work was said to have been at it's highest. Also had a great turnout of approx. 150 pieces. I would like to congratulate Lou Gagliano for winning the BREAKTHOURGH AWARD Great job! Also, I would like to congratulate all the award winners Great Job. Here are some pics of the show.
