Hello, I am new to this site and new to the art of taxidermy. I have been doing work for others for about 2 years now and am trying to build a customer base that hopefully will turn into a full time winter job. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you for your time

looks good for your 10th. the hair at the corner of the mouth could be tucked in a little more. then it wont stick out like it does.

Very solid mount. If you want this to be a winter job my best advice would be to get a good tannery that will have hides ready for you in the winter to work on. A lot of tanneries have such a long TAT and you could be bored all winter. I'm lucky to have a great tannery that turns them out fast. Or tan them yourself.

Thank you, I actually have never sent a cape to the tannery(b/c I have heard how long a lot of them take to get it back to you), I have been using Krowtann. It seems to work pretty good and is easy enough even I can use it!

10Th deer what that week? No really nice job you should be proud. The tannery time I started using the RUSH service at the Wild Gall and have been really pleased. Return in 30-45 days which means I'm done in June instead of starting in July. Cost is about 10-12 dollars a cape. Worth it to me. Just an option to look into. Self tanning takes time cost money in the long run. Great job once again.

Thank you guys! I have used both the 2000 and Whitetail formula but I think I like the Whitetail formula better, seems to have a bit more stretch.

I would like to say that is a very solid mount for your 10th. Maybe it is me or the picture, but the antlers appear to me to be back a little to far, angle is good though.
